Lisa: “Dan and I were the original Product Designers in the trenches together 💪, so what I’m about to write is super tough! But unfortunately I do feel Dan has really checked out lately 🤷♂️. While I absolutely LOVE his passion for wellbeing and spirituality, this seems to be all he’s interested in talking about. It can really distract from key topics in our team meetings and 1:1s are completely derailed 😬” (direct feedback to YOO)
Sung: “From what I’ve seen, Dan is highly skilled in product design - I have done research on MLU’s design archive and took a lot of inspiration from Dan’s work. However, what I’ve seen him deliver in the past few months, is living up to the quality of his past designs. Maybe he is having a designer block?” (direct feedback to YOO)
Sam: “I don’t believe I’ve had a single conversation with Dan about product design. He’s clearly very passionate... just not about his job. Which is a shame because the work he does produce is of a very high quality.” (direct feedback to YOO)
Jane: “I’ve learned a lot from you since starting. Thank you for always being happy to answer my questions, and I appreciate the tip on how to clear my mind and disconnect after work while working remotely!” (DM to Dan)
Dalia: “Dan has been a great support to me in finding my feet during my first few months here. He’s always positive and has great tips on how to find a healthy work-life balance.” (feedback from onboarding survey)
Mo (CMO): “Dan’s Wellbeing series has been a great uplift to our company culture. The work being shipped from him is always of a high standard.” (Kudos platform)
Matt (VP of Manufacturing): “Unfortunately I haven’t had enough interaction with Dan in the past quarter to provide much commentary. We used to work very closely in the earlier part of the year but I feel like he’s been less visible to the company lately - something to work on?” (feedback from retro)
